- Menke's kinky hair syndrome

- Use shampoo and conditioner that are appropriate for your hair type
- Avoid blow drying, flat irons or curling irons
- Do not use hair care and styling products that contain harsh chemicals like
ammonia, alcohol etc.
- Wear a hat to protect your hair from the drying and damaging effects of
sunrays
- Protect you your hair from chlorinated when swimming in a pool
