Gray Hair
On this page:
Graying of hair is one of the first signs of aging. Hair pigment called melanin
comes
comes from special
cells
at
the
root
of the
hair follicles. These cells stop to produce melanin at a specific age in life.
As the process of aging begins and gradually progresses, these cells make less
and
less pigment un till most of the hair roots have very little pigment. Genes
play a very important role in determining the age at which your hair will
start graying.

- Gray hair is coarser and dryer than the rest of your hair, so it is extremely
important to use a conditioner after every shampoo. Using a leave in conditioner
and a deep conditioning treatment once a month are strongly recommended.
- Use shampoo that is especially formulated
for graying hair.
- Avoid too much use of heating appliances like hair dryers or curling irons.
- A special product called sancho lotion, which contains a japanese ingredient
called sancho pepper is believed to repigment your hair permanently. This
ingredient is believed to revive the pigment cells that are responsible for

of your hair.
