Audio-Visual Language System
The system consists of audio cards and an easy-to-operate reader. Push-button controls allow most clients to use the reader independently - even young children can run the audio cards through the lightweight, portable reader. Audio cards are available blank or preprogrammed. Blank cards allow teachers/ clinicians to customize their own learning tools. Pictures, words, phrases or sentences can be printed on the blank cards, then the appropriate language can be recorded on the reader. Users playing the card through the reader listen to the teacher/clinician's recording while reading the words. Users can listen and record as many times as necessary. Preprogrammed audio cards in sets of 24 help teach the alphabet and phonic skills. Reader and audio card sets are sold separately. The reader can be used with most standard earphones, which help the user hear more clearly. Requires four C batteries (not included). Latex free.
