If you dream it, you can do it! Create a climbing wall that will help your children improve their motor skills. While they are playing, children are planning their next move where to put their hands and feet and how much effort to exert. You can place the hand-holds to build strength, confidence, improve balance and encourage lateral movement, which requires using both hands simultaneously. Though a belay or harness system is not needed, children must be protected from the floors with mats that are at least four inches thick. There are a couple of things to consider before deciding on a climbing wall. First of all, it helps if you know a competent handy person or construction worker. Then have the expert determine that your wall is sufficient and meets codes before placing your order. With that done, youre ready to design your very own climbing wall. Simply follow these four easy steps: - Order a wall bracket, which holds two individual 4' x 4' panels
- Select two climbing wall panels: either two regular, two granite texture or one of each (panels come with T-nuts installed)
- Select your hand-holds (each panel has spots for 23 hand-holds)
- Characterquantity of 6 (One of each: elephant, frog, funny face, walrus, dinosaur, and rabbit)
- Letterquantity of 6 (A-F)
- Numberquantity of 6 (0-5)
- Plainquantity of 10
- Select your anchor kit
