SciFit Pro II - All Body Ergometer
SciFit ergometers are premium commercial fitness machines that can be used as upper body (Pro 1000) or total body (Pro II) conditioners. Both bikes are wheelchair accessible and feature variable length hand cranks that can be configured to simulate a rowing motion. Bi-directional resistance is built into the bikes to facilitate strengthening of reciprocal muscle groups. A single flywheel allows the user to passively work the lower body (Pro II only) while actively working the upper body or vice versa. Comfortable seats offer lumbar support and height adjustability ensures proper body alignment. Step through seating design makes getting on and off the bikes quick and easy. Optional boots are available for patients with limited lower extremity strength. Optional tethers help secure wheelchairs to the bikes and an optional platform base prevents wheelchairs from sliding during exercise (tethers and platform base are sold together).
