Pulling magnet from monitor activates alarm, indicating that the patient has exceeded safe range of movement from wheelchair, chair or bed, or has called for assistance. Includes adjustable-length cord, hi/low volume setting, low-battery indicator and clip for hanging monitor on chair or bed. Locking tab on clothes must be folded down, making removal by patient difficult. Requires 9V battery. One-year warranty. Alarm Protector is a rubber casing that protects the alarm in case of falls or hard usage.
